It has been a long two weeks since Escapade 59. A lot of time was spent either painting or mowing. The lawn doesn't look too bad in the front, that's because I mowed it before we left for Escapade, I didn't want the house to look like it was abandoned. It rained and the grass continued to grow.

I turned my attention to the inside of the house, mostly attention to painting anything that didn't move, swung open or closed, held something, in other words, just about everything. We did make some changes to the bathroom, medicine cabinet, vanity, and resurfacing the bath tub. The biggest change was changing the vanity from 32 inches to 35 inches. The tub resurface was an adventure again, I say that because i did it when we sold our town-home six years ago. This time it turned out far better than anticipated.

After I resurfaced the tub, I changed out the drain and overflow fixtures. Without too much updating the bathroom looks pretty good with the original green and black tile and wall heater. the only room left to complete is the kitchen. Nothing spectacular happening in there, just paint and new drawer and cabinet handles.
Let's talk front yard.....
 ... that's
right, there is a For Sale sign in that front yard.... OUR FRONT YARD. May 1st is the official date.
